Creating a Character

Choose a name – The setting is medieval, fantasy so it needs to be a name that will fit in with this setting. When you create, there is the option to use a name generator if you are lost for ideas.

Choose a password – This should be a word 3-11 characters long that you will use to log in with your character again. Don’t share your password with anyone as you will be held responsible for any of their actions.

Select ansi colour – This is the option to mud in colour.

Select a race – Races available are dwarf, elf, faerie, gnome, half-elf, halfling, and human.
For help on a race type help <racename> during creation.

Select a gender

Automap option enabled – This is a line of sight mapper that shows you the surrounding terrain and can be very useful for getting your bearings.

Character attributes selection – These are attributes which can be trained after creation, so choose high attributes in the area that your preferred class will need, eg. spellcasters need memory, reasoning, self-displine, presence, intuition and empathy, fighters need strength, constitution, quickness and agility.

Alignment – Your alignment will determine how you roleplay your character. Alliance is your leaning towards good and evil, tendency is your leaning towards law and chaos.

Customisation – This takes time but allows for a greater range of skills and abilities. It is recommended for new players to choose the default set of skills. If you choose to customize, try not to get over 40 creation points, as this will take longer for you to gain levels. Skills can be gained after creation so you don’t need to try and get everything on the list during creation.
